With its last series of amplifiers, Marshall makes an homage to Jimi Hendrix. According to the firm, the guitarist was always regarded as his larger ambassador.
Jimi Hendrix Signature Stack is composed of three parts: a head with two channels Super 100JH of 100 Watts, two cabinets 1982AJH and 1982BJH provided each one with four loudspeaker 12 inches in diameter.
The history of this head goes up at 1966, a lamp handmade amplifier now resurrected with only 600 models distributed all over the world.
Each head of amplifier individually will be numbered and signed by Jim Marshall. It will also comprise the official logo of Jimi Hendrix.
No price was communicated but in this limited series it will be hard to have one.

For his 60th Anniversary, Fender launch a limited sery only handmade this year : the Diamond series. the two legendary guitars are represented : the telecaster and the stratocaster. Only in a tree-colors sunburst finish, this sery will have a vintage soul with 3 vintage '57 style pickups for the "strato" and two vintage '52 style pickups for the "tele". Be sure the sound will resonate in the heart of rock'n roll. This two guitars are sure to take its place in the pantheon of legendary Fender instruments. but the legend has a cost : 1499 €. Not too much for a collection guitar but not for anybody too. The guitars I would like to play with.
In addition to the American Series anniversary models, Fender have extended the 60th Anniversary celebration to the Standard Series made in Mexico. A very nice Blizzard Pearl finish, an alder body and tree Tex Mex pickups to have the better of sound in a luxury finished and for all musicians at the price of 649€.

2006 will be the year of Gibson. More than 10 new models like the New Century Explorer with his chrome pickguard looking like a Star Trek guitar or the SG and Les Paul GT.
